Description: The Accounting Clerk’s principal function is to assist the Balsam Brands bookkeeper or accountant with general accounting tasks.
Responsibilities will include:
• Entering bills into QuickBooks
• Filing
• Pulling reports from our e-commerce software
• Preparing sales tax reports
• Managing inventory
• Expense reimbursement
• Handling customer returns
• Other accounting tasks
• Assisting with other projects as needed
Required Skills:
• Minimum 2 years work experience
• Experience with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Undergraduate degree preferred
• Ability to understand accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Ability to follow procedures and keep records
• Resourcefulness and initiative
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to accept additional responsibilities and assist others as needed
